'Abhiyum Naanum' is a film that stars Prakash Raj and Trisha in lead roles and the film weaves the tale of a father and daughter.

Prakash Raj had recently taken his young daughter to meet the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu M. Karunanidhi in order to invite him along with his daughter Kanimozhi, who is an MP.

Since the film's story reflects the special bonding a father and his daughter have, the filmmakers decided to call on the Chief Minister along with his daughter for the release of the film's music which is expected to take place soon. The Chief Minister seemed impressed by this approach and has consented to be part of the program.

'Abhiyum Naanum' is produced by Moser Baer in association with Prakash Raj's Duet movies and also features Prithviraj and Ishwarya in prominent roles.
